I will help you design the home you want and navigate the process of getting it built.  Here are some of the services I provide:

• Figuring out what design options for the exterior and interior will get you the home you want
• Working with you to develop a realistic project that meets local zoning and building requirements
• Designing the project to meet your budget, and how to best spend the money you have available
• Obtaining permits and creating all the drawings and documents needed to get your project built
• Finding and selecting the right general contractor
• Help during construction to manage all the little details to ensure that your project gets built the way you want
• Assistance in selecting materials, finishes, colors, and appliances

I create spaces that are authentic and straightforward, reinterpreting traditional residential design through contemporary proportions, details and materials. This always includes working with clients as partners to create a home that reflects their personality and lifestyle.  I'm strongly influenced by:

Fee information

Most projects are split into two phases. The design phase, where we figure out what the project is going to look like, and the the documentation phase, where I create drawings for permit and construction and apply for a building permit.

• The design phase fee is charged hourly and includes an estimate of the total anticipated fee
• The documentation phase is charged as a fixed fee

How to get started

Email  or call to set up a complimentary phone call to go over the project you have in mind.  From there we can schedule a free consultation at my office to go over your project in more detail. If you are interested in having me visit your site to evaluate the feasibly of your project, there is a flat fee of $225 for a one hour consultation. Sites located outside of the Portland Metro area may incur additional fees.
